“Laminate fi nishes will always dominate the kitchen market in terms of colour range and versatile application,” he says. “However, the evolving trends from Europe and the manufacturers of gloss f nishes are releasing durable and cost effective gloss products to the market, providing a great range of decorative finishes for clients to select from at competitive prices.”
Darren says Farquhar Kitchen Centre works closely with suppliers to ensure quality products are made available to clients. Its Norwood showroom boasts five display kitchens dedicated to gloss products including laminate, PVC, acrylic and 2-pac painted finishes.
“These fi nishes all provide the same level of finish, just variations in edge profiling, sheen, durability and colour selection,” says Darren.
